How We Handle Your Subfloor
Vinyl only performs as well as what's underneath it. On slab homes we check for moisture and level out low spots before anything gets installed. On older Charlotte homes with plywood or original subfloors, we'll flag any soft spots or squeaks up front rather than installing over a problem and letting it surface later. If your existing floor needs to come out first, that's part of the estimate, not a surprise add-on.

Vinyl Flooring - frequently asked questions
LVP and LVT are waterproof at the plank or tile level, and sheet vinyl is fully seamless in smaller rooms, which makes it a strong option for bathrooms, laundry rooms, and kitchens. We'll still recommend proper edge sealing in wet areas so water can't get underneath.
In most cases, yes. Many Charlotte homes are built on slab, and vinyl is one of the easier products to install over concrete once it's checked for moisture and leveled where needed. We test for that during the estimate.
