Luxury Vinyl Plank - frequently asked questions
Click-lock planks float over the subfloor and snap together, which makes for a faster install in most living spaces. Glue-down LVP is adhered directly to the subfloor, which we typically recommend for basements or higher-traffic commercial areas where a fully bonded floor holds up better.
That's the main reason most of our customers choose it. The wear layer resists scratches from claws and toys far better than hardwood, and because it's waterproof, spills and accidents aren't a crisis.
